In instances where the mobile app displays a "Searching..." message and fails to connect to the Satori device, the following troubleshooting steps are recommended:

1. Ensure that the Control Panel is operational on your computer while using the mobile app.
2. Confirm that the Satori device is connected to the computer running the Control Panel via a USB cable. The Control Panel should not indicate "No device connected."
3. The mobile device's WiFi must be enabled and connected to the computer's LAN network; mobile networks are not supported.
4. Verify that both the mobile device and computer are on the same LAN network, including the same VLAN if applicable. Running a "ping" command between devices can confirm their visibility to each other.
5. If multiple network adapters (including virtual ones from VMWare or VirtualBox) are installed on your computer, disable all except for the one connected to the mobile device's network. Restart the Control Panel and attempt to reconnect.
6. The computer’s firewall must permit communication over TCP ports 5007 and 20000 as well as UDP port 20001 for both incoming and outgoing traffic associated with the Control Panel.
7. Ensure that the firewall does not obstruct outgoing UDP multicast packets directed to IP address 239.192.5.6.
8. Check for similar firewall restrictions on your WiFi access point.
9. If using an iOS device as a Wi-Fi hotspot while running the app on another iOS device, disable Bluetooth on the hotspot after activating "Personal Hotspot."
10. The Satori Remote Control app is incompatible with Apple's AirPort Express router; consider using an alternative Wi-Fi router or access point.
